How The Peace Dealer Got His Name: Jaclyn Joy Interviews Mike on Astrology Unfiltered
Two Gemini projectors born in 1990 trace one astrologer's crooked road from Bible study to 50,000 subscribers, and compare notes on Neptune, Uranus and the coming nodal shift.
▶ Watch the replay on humankindEpisode 15 of Astrology Unfiltered flips the usual format. Instead of a transit rundown, host Jaclyn Joy spends the hour interviewing Mike, the Las Vegas astrologer known online as The Peace Dealer, about how he became who he is. She calls it a peace talk. He calls his own story ridiculous, then tells all of it. Watch the replay on humankind.

How does a Christian apologist become a chart reader?
Mike was raised Christian and still holds Saturday Bible study with his mother. Around 2010 and 2011, living in El Paso, a DUI arrest he still disputes sent him into a more serious phase of faith. He wanted to become an apologist. Reading critiques of how the Bible was copied and transmitted cracked that open, and by late 2011 he was exploring outside Christianity for the first time.
Two doors opened at once. He started watching horoscope videos and joined Soulgarden, where Christopher Witecki took him on as a Gemini writer and gave him his first natal reading, followed shortly by one from David Palmer, later The Leo King. He says those two readings remain the best he has ever received. At the same time his younger sister introduced him to an Ifa practitioner who gave him his first tarot reading.
Then he taught himself the way projectors are not supposed to: by asking strangers on campus and in clubs if he could read their charts. The reps worked.

Where did the name The Peace Dealer come from?
His first channel, Clearsight, launched around 2012. In late 2013 his mother sent him to live with an uncle in Gardner, Kansas, where he transferred to KU. The uncle, an Aquarius (sitting on Mike's Aquarius North Node in the tenth house, he notes), first offered to initiate him into a family fraternity in Nigeria, then told him to quit astrology. Mike deleted his channel.
In February 2014 he found Shopify, felt what he calls a nucleus moment, and the name The Peace Dealer arrived. Years later he ran the numerology: nine, nine, nine, matching his life path number. Days later, told to delete his new channel or leave, he left. A Soulgarden friend in Kansas City put him on a couch, a stranger needed her car driven to Venice Beach, and four months in LA with the Leo King followed.
Jaclyn's read on all of it: "nothing is random, and we're guided through a lot of steps." Mike's: "That time taught me faith which helped me get out of my head."
What is the current sky doing to two 1990 Gemini projectors?

Both hosts were born in June 1990, ten days apart, both projectors in Human Design (Jaclyn 6/2, Mike 6/4), and both turned 36 this year. They agree that 36 is the year the 1990 cohort finally came online, and that what felt like the arrival two years ago was only the setup.
The transits they name are personal, not forecast. Uranus in Gemini has both of them saying bolder things. Saturn and Neptune in Aries are helping Mike double down on identity. Neptune is also sitting on their shared Mars at 1 degree Aries, which Jaclyn describes as low physical energy and disillusionment, and a reason projectors should guard how they spend themselves right now. Jupiter in Leo is on their South Node, and Mike's practical takeaway is that now is the time to book the reading you have been putting off. Both are most excited about the North Node moving back to the Aquarius and Leo axis, which last happened around 2007 and 2008 when they graduated high school.
Jaclyn also flags Hades at 8 degrees Gemini near her 11 degree Gemini Sun in the eighth house, and Mike's Cronus at 21 degrees beside his 20 degree Gemini Sun, as the reason technology glitches around both of them. His phone spontaneously played one of his own YouTube videos mid-show.
What is next for The Peace Dealer?

Mike plans to finish Glenn Perry's AstroPsychology course, return to school for electrical engineering (he has completed electrician trade school and is waiting on apprenticeships), and use that skill to fund a better production setup. The channel is going back to its roots: sillier content, video essays, and live events he wants to bring to Sedona. Readings are available at thepeacedealer.com.
Rapid fire. Venus in Scorpio over Libra. Sun in Capricorn over Pisces. Mercury in Gemini. Mars in Aquarius, because Aries and Aquarius meet in Pisces, the Ten of Cups. Moon in Virgo, and on Virgo Moons: "I've never met a Moon in Virgo that misses." Lilith in Aries. Monogamy (Venus in Taurus, both of them). Sonic over Taco Bell, New York over LA, coffee, Biggie, Sun square Uranus, The Odyssey, and Homecoming by Ye.
