▶ Choose your ticketOn Sunday, October 25, Möonbabe Records takes over humankind in Sedona for Beyond the Veil, an evening of ecstatic dance, ceremony, live music and sound healing, with costumes encouraged. Three women of the label lead the night: Siren Gliss on electric harp, EIR, the Sonic Seamstress, and Möonbabe's founder, Heather Christie. A fourth Möonbabe artist will be announced.
The night begins with a workshop from 4 to 5 PM, and the dance runs from 6 to 11 PM. Tickets are on Eventbrite.

What Is Beyond the Veil?
It is built around an old idea: that at this time of year the veil between worlds grows thin. The evening is shaped like a ceremony rather than a concert, opening with intention, moving through a long arc of dance, and closing in sound healing. Guests are invited to come in costume, mystical, celestial, enchanted or supernatural, as the self they imagine on the other side. Costumes are never required, and the night is alcohol- and drug-free.
Who Is Playing?
Siren Gliss opens the dance at 6 PM on electric harp. She has made it her mission to break the glass ceiling for harpists, bringing an instrument most people know from concert halls onto the dance floor.
EIR, Alexandra Freyer, is known as the Sonic Seamstress. She weaves ancient melodies, live vocals and keys into conscious house, and she closes her sets on twelve crystal bowls. Sedona dancers know her from her nights at humankind.

Heather Christie founded Möonbabe Records and carries the night home with ritual deep house. “To me, the moon is an ultimate symbol of the feminine,” she says of the label's name.
