When Astrology Meets Angel Channeling: Two Podcasters Map the Shift to 5D

The latest On Humankind podcast experience brought together two of the platform's weekly voices: Jacqueline Joy, who hosts Astrology Unfiltered from Hawaii, and Adria Estrabu, the meditation-devotee-turned-angel-channel behind You Unlimited. What unfolded was a real-time exploration of how different spiritual technologies—astrology, channeling, embodied presence—are all pointing to the same thing: we're in the middle of something huge.

How Did These Two Find Their Paths?

Jacqueline's origin story as "Astrology Babe" came during COVID, when a friend running a dating app for the unvaccinated coined the handle. But astrology had been in the background her whole life—her mom kept an astrology book lying around, planting seeds she didn't understand until years later. When she moved to Maui eight years ago, she discovered David Palmer and Lily King's work, and "he kind of blew the lid off of what I thought I knew about myself." That catalyzed her decision to build her own brand around the gifts she'd always carried: tarot, Akashic reading, mediumship, and now astrology as a daily ritual.

Adria's path was quieter but no less transformative. At 18, she fell in love with meditation—"like experiencing what love was for the first time and then getting it right then. Or water and thirst happening at the same moment." She went to India, lived in ashrams, got high on consciousness when most people her age were getting high on other things. That practice led, eventually, to channeling angels and teaching about 5D living. "There's no greater high for me than the inner world," she said simply.

What Does 5D Actually Mean in Everyday Life?

One of the most clarifying moments in the conversation came when Jacqueline asked Adria to explain 5D. Adria offered a framework that made the abstract suddenly tangible: "3D is very based on time, units of time, planning, and things are measured. And then there's polarity—hot, cold, famous, infamous, on a spectrum with an opposite."

5D, by contrast, is "much more fluid, very present moment, which means you don't really get to plan because you don't know until you're in that moment what the energy is." She compared 3D living to Fred Flintstone's car—a broken vehicle you're actually pedaling with your feet, thinking it should carry you. "5D is a little more like hang gliding. You know you'll get to your goals, usually sooner than in 3D, but you've got to ride the energy right now. It's a co-creation. You're not efforting at all."

Adria shared that around the solstice transition, she "felt so palpably the Earth shift to 5D. It was, to me, undeniable." From the angelic perspective, about half of humanity is choosing to rise into this higher frequency, while the other half is staying in 3D—not as a judgment, but as a soul choice. "It's a limited time only, 3D on Earth," she noted. "Won't be here a few generations from now. Make use of it while you can."

What Are the Planets Telling Us Right Now?

Jacqueline brought the astrological context: at the top of 2026, Saturn and Neptune moved into Aries (the first sign of the zodiac, a brand-new beginning), and Pluto shifted into Aquarius for the next 20 years. "When an outermost planet changes or shifts into a new sign, it really can change the ways that we experience this realm," she explained.

Pluto in Aquarius, she said, is "bringing us to the edge of our discomfort in ways the ego's never seen before. It's more about the soul." The unpredictability ruled by Uranus—earthquakes, unusual weather patterns, electricity, cataclysmic environmental events—is showing up everywhere. "We're having big hurricanes in the Pacific with El Niño, and no hurricanes in the Atlantic. That's really unusual. It's been a very unusual year for weather, and you're seeing it play out in astrology."

What moved through the room was the recognition that these aren't separate realities—the angelic, the astrological, the embodied human experience. They're threads of the same shift, witnessed from different vantage points.

Adria revealed she's just published a book called Activate Your Galactic 12 Strand DNA, channeled through Archangels Raphael and Ariel over six months of workshops. The 12 strands? Angelic, Pleiadian, Sirian, Aboriginal Australian, Tara, Dragon, Reptilian, and more. "I can't tell you how many times I say Dragon DNA to someone and they say, 'Oh, that makes sense,'" she laughed. "I expect people to get freaked out, but they're like, 'Oh, that tracks.'"

Both women spoke about the dissolving of old identities. Jacqueline noted that the astrologers she's been interviewing are all shedding their boxes—"an astrologer and a DJ, an astrologer and a musician, an astrologer who's probably dropping out of it completely and just starting anew. It's about not attaching ourselves to these titles anymore." Adria nodded: "I feel like I'm continually dropping what I think I know about myself, about people, about angels. I really know nothing."

Their practical advice for people just waking up? Adria: "Trust yourself. You're not behind if you just woke up today. Things are accelerated—you can catch up tomorrow to someone you think has it all figured out." Jacqueline: "The beings that love us know the way in which you're able to receive that line of communication. You're not crazy for seeing the signs. It's really there to help all of us."
