Inside the Hologenetics Journey: Human Design Meets Gene Keys with Indon

When Indon opened the first session of his four-week Hologenetics series, he wasn't just teaching human design and gene keys—he was inviting participants into a living synthesis. "We're gonna be talking about all things related to human design, gene keys and astrology, all woven together," he said, settling into what would become a deep dive into aura types, evolutionary cycles, and the holographic code inside our DNA.

What makes hologenetics different from traditional human design?

For Indon, human design and gene keys are not separate systems—they're two parts of the same map. "The teacher of the gene keys system was a student of Ra," he explained, referencing Ra Uru Hu, the messenger who received human design in 1987. Richard Rudd, founder of the gene keys, was head of the International Human Design School in the UK while developing what Indon calls "an expansion pack" of the original system.

Where human design gives you gates and channels, gene keys give you spectrum. Each gate has a corresponding key, and every key reveals three frequency bands: shadow (fear-based survival), gift (genius and open-heartedness), and siddhi (divine realization). "The shadow is actually just the wrapping paper on the gift," Indon offered. "Black is not truly a color—it's all the colors. If you go into the shadow, underneath is this resplendent, luminescent light."

He walked through the mechanics with precision: two astrological calculations (tropical and Egyptian stellar), the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching mapped to the wheel, nine centers instead of seven chakras, 36 channels like radio stations with different planetary hosts. And woven through it all, the Buddhist concept of anatta—the not-self. "These undefined parts of us get tricked into having to define themselves," he said. "That's where we develop beliefs and patterns that are echoes of other people living inside of us. They are the source of our suffering."

How do DNA base pairs relate to the four aura types?

This is where Indon's teaching moves from mechanics into poetry. He mapped the four nucleotide bases—adenine, cytosine, thymine, guanine—onto the four aura types, revealing the yin-yang binary at the heart of the genetic code. "Literally the yin yang encoding when we were breaking down hexagram structure is found in the base pairs of the DNA," he said, pointing to the wheel quartered by the solstices and equinoxes.

Manifestors are yang-yang (adenine-cytosine), pure electrical force. Projectors are yang-yin, resonance and attenuation. Reflectors are yin-yin (thymine), the space in between. Generators are yin-yang (guanine), magnetism and induction. "These four forces are a conversation for literally what this unified field is," he said. "It's a manifestation that we are generating because of our projections, which is reflecting back to us."

He also linked each type to a guardian star: Sirius for manifestors, Alcyone of the Pleiades for projectors, Dubhe of the Great Bear for reflectors, and Jupiter for generators. "If we wanted to plant a seed here about star nations you come from, these guardian stars and the fixed star placements in your chart will give you insights into your star lineage."

Why did Indon start with reflectors and the yin era?

Rather than begin with manifestors or generators, Indon took the class back to the evolutionary beginning—the yin era, before language, before written history, when humanity was guided by the moon and mammalian instinct. "This was the yin era, deeply matriarchal, centered around the feminine, the maternal mitochondrial survival of the lineage."

Reflectors, the rarest type at just 1% of the population, emerged from this era. They have no defined centers—entirely open. But Indon reframes this as strength, not vulnerability. "That porousness makes them like Teflon, like a formless mist that can move through an environment. Things can roll off or simply pass through the reflector aura."

Because reflectors have no defined centers, their consistency comes from the moon. "The moon is gonna repeat the same sequence every 28 days. Reflectors morph into the different types all month, repeatedly." He encouraged reflectors to map their lunar activations—knowing which days they'll embody manifestor energy (time to initiate), generator energy (deep work days), or projector energy (research and invitations).

"They are the canary in the coal mine," Indon said. "If you want real, genuine objective advice and reflections, ask your reflector friends. They can assess how the environment, the project, the relationship is going long before anybody else."

Their signature? Surprise. "Once you've seen the same reflection tens of thousands of times from humanity, it's disappointing. Reflectors are seeking: who is different? What is different? They are here to be unique beings—the formless form, the pathless path."

The session closed with the transition out of the reflector era and into the dawn of the first defined type—the manifesting generator, brought online by the Channel of Charisma. "It brought the life force from the sacral up to the throat, and actually that life force brought the spine upright. We got out of hunching in the bushes."
