The Up Vibe with Aurora Luna Star: Why Your Voice Is Your Own Best Medicine
Aurora Luna Star explores the healing power of sacred sound, toning, and authentic voice—plus a powerful channeled message from the OMRA Collective.
What if the most powerful healing instrument you possess is one you've had all along—your own voice?
In the latest episode of The Up Vibe, host Aurora Luna Star broadcasts from Mount Shasta, California to explore the transformative power of sacred sound, authentic self-expression, and how our voices literally shape our reality. Speaking directly to the camera with palpable energy, Aurora weaves together ancient wisdom, quantum physics, and deeply practical guidance for anyone ready to reclaim their voice.
"Your voice, the timbre of your voice, the tonality of your voice is your own medicine," Aurora explains, her whole body lighting up as she shares this truth. "My whole body is lighting up as I say this out loud, it's kind of fun. Big energy moving, right?"

Why Does Our Voice Matter So Much for Healing?
Aurora doesn't just talk about sound healing in abstract terms—she grounds it in science and embodied experience. Referencing the late Dr. Masaru Emoto's water crystal research, she reminds us that we're mostly water, and water is listening.
"When the word love is put under a water crystal, it looks like a beautiful snowflake and lots of other positive words versus words like war, hatred, where the water crystals become this brown, weird-looking substance," she explains. The implications are profound: every word we speak to ourselves and others literally affects our cellular structure.
But Aurora goes further, connecting voice work to the "matrix" of collective consciousness that keeps us trapped in mental loops of anxiety and fear. "We are not meant to feel, we're meant to stay in our mental field," she observes about societal conditioning. The antidote? Dropping into the body through sound, emotion, and authentic expression.
She introduces the practice of toning—simply picking a note and singing it, without concern for how it sounds. "It can sound awesome. It could sound pretty, right?" she demonstrates. "That's it. It's as simple as that. And that tone can be something that your body needs right now."

What Does It Mean to Speak Your Truth Without People-Pleasing?
One of the episode's most relatable moments comes when Aurora shares a real-time observation: a friend staying in her home recently made her aware of how often she apologizes. "People-pleasing, right? Apologizing for things that aren't necessarily for me to apologize for. Love having the sacred mirror in front of me to know that that's one of my habits in this moment."
She distinguishes between the early awakening phase—when we first discover we have a voice—and the more mature phase of speaking truth from a loving place. For many "starseeds" (Aurora's term for spiritually-oriented people who feel like "the black sheep of the family"), finding authentic voice means unlearning decades of performing for others' approval.
"What people feel about you is none of your business," Aurora states firmly, acknowledging how challenging this truth can be for those constantly seeking external validation. The spiritual journey, she insists, is inward—learning what you actually like, what you don't, and practicing discernment without judgment.
Even emotions like anger get reframed. "Anger is so important, right? Again, it's this beautiful, alchemizing energy that allows you to know, hmm, something is not feeling good for me." The key isn't suppressing anger but using it as information, then taking responsibility for navigating it rather than projecting it onto others.

What Wisdom Did the OMRA Collective Share?
In the episode's second half, Aurora channels the OMRA Collective, a ninth-dimensional frequency she describes as communicating through Gaia "like a satellite." After taking deep breaths and visibly shifting her energy, a different quality enters her voice.

"Greetings, dear ones. We are the OMRA Collective, and we are grateful to be with you on this day," the transmission begins. The message emphasizes humanity's disconnection from nature and the harmonic resonance available there.
"There is no tree looking at a flower, telling her to change the color of her petals," the OMRA Collective observes. "There is a harmonic resonance, there is a love that reigns and rolls freely through every blade of grass, through every leaf of every bush of every tree."
The channeled guidance addresses the pressure many feel to completely transform their lives, offering a gentler path: "You can stay where you are and start to expand, at the very least, the beginning of your journey. But oftentimes, you're in those places and spaces because your light, dear one, is greatly needed."
Perhaps most powerfully, the OMRA Collective reframes our current challenges: "You are this beautiful, beautiful diamond. And yes, dear ones, part of your diamond is still coal and coals become diamonds under extreme amounts of pressure. And this is what you are experiencing on your planet at this time."
Aurora also shares details about her upcoming Sacred Voice, Sacred Sound retreat happening September 20-22 in Mount Shasta—a three-day immersive experience where participants will tone in community, receive sound healing with crystal bowls and gong, and practice authentic voice work in a supportive container.
Throughout the episode, Aurora's teaching style is refreshingly honest. She shares her own messy moments, recent uncomfortable situations she co-created, and ongoing grief over losing her father, brother, and brother-in-law within a year. "Sometimes the crying is just pure grief, and I just missed hugging my dad because I can't do that anymore, right?" This vulnerability makes her guidance on "the up vibe" feel earned rather than bypassing.
As she reminds viewers, "The Up Vibe only happens when we're real about where we are in our vibe. I'm not about bypassing. I'm not about pretending that everything's okay when it's not."
