He was careful, repeatedly, to flag where the math ended and the metaphysics began. "A whole bunch of stuff that was not flying in straight lines," he said — slow movers scattered across the northwest sky that suddenly, for about an hour, began zigzagging and accelerating in place. He wasn't ready to call it anything definitive — maybe atmospheric plasma gathering charge in a geographic vortex, maybe something else — but he tied the sighting back to his talk on asymmetrical field perturbation and electrogravitics, the same physics he thinks might one day get a coil off the ground rather than just humming on a table.
